⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ | Loved it! A must-own book.
Read A Vow in Vengeance if you like magic academies with actual stakes, tarot-based magic systems, forced proximity that hits, and fantasy romance that does not fizzle out halfway through.

💭 My Thoughts:
I went into this one mostly blind—and honestly? Skeptical. Tarot magic academies and I have a complicated history. I’ve been burned before (no names, but 👀). Add that to a recent streak of fantasy romances that start strong and completely collapse by the 30–50% mark, and yeah… expectations were low.
By the bookish gods, my hesitant optimism paid off.
By 50% in, I was fully locked in. No boredom. It didn’t sag in the middle. No “okay but when does something happen?” moments. This book stays engaging from start to finish, which already puts it ahead of a lot of fantasy romance releases lately.
And the ending?? Action-packed, high-stakes, edge-of-your-seat chaos in the best way. There was at least one plot twist I absolutely did not see coming, and I was flipping pages like my life depended on it.
Let’s talk romance.
The banter? Bantering.
The tension? Delicious.
The spice? Well-placed and purposeful—just enough heat to elevate the story without hijacking it.
Also: friendships, bravery, academic pressure, found family vibes—it’s all here, and it all works. The fact that this is a debut is genuinely wild.
Fantasy romance winner, babes. No qualifiers.
