Book Boyfriend Meter: 💛

Hot. But not for me.

Okay so this ranking is for the Autumn prince since this is mostly his story. He’s such a sweet cinnamon roll, but honestly, out of all five princes in this series, he’s like number 5 for me. Cute, but not my type.

✨ Vibes:

🌛 Fairytale romance
👑 Court politics + rising tension
🍁 Harvest season and cozy autumn setting

Basically: higher stakes and deeper bonds amidst a crisp autumn backdrop.

💭 My Thoughts:

If you thought Bonded by Thorns was good…

This one takes it to another level.

Woven by Gold doesn’t just continue the story — it elevates everything.

The romance?
Hotter.

The worldbuilding?
Deeper.

The stakes?
Higher.

This is the kind of sequel that makes you go, “Okay yeah, I’m fully invested now.”

I absolutely devoured this book.

Between the multiple POVs and everything happening across the world, there’s always something pulling your attention. The pacing keeps you locked in, and the tension? Constant.

And let’s talk about the emotional side of this story…

Because wow.

You really start to feel everything with these characters — their pain, their growth, their struggles, their healing.

The themes in this one hit hard:

✨ Growth
✨ Redemption
✨ Self-discovery
✨ Unity against impossible odds

It’s not just romance and magic (though don’t worry — those are still delivering). It’s an emotional rollercoaster, and I was fully strapped in for the ride.

And the political intrigue??

SO good.

The shifting alliances, the tension between characters, the underlying threats — it all adds this layer of intensity that makes you need to keep turning pages.

By the end, I was completely satisfied with how things played out…

…and immediately ready for Book 3.

Because this series?

Yeah. It’s only getting better.

Should you add Woven by Gold to your TBR?

Yes. Immediately.

But only if you’ve already read Bonded by Thorns — this is a direct continuation, and trust me, you’ll want the full experience.
