💭 My Thoughts:

Wow.

Just… wow.

At this point, it’s safe to say the Beasts of the Briar series has completely sunk its claws into me.

Bonded by Thorns started strong.
Woven by Gold leveled things up.
Forged by Malice expanded the world.

And this one?

This one delivers.

Now here’s the thing — why choose / reverse harem is not usually my go-to trope.

But this series?

The exception.

Because the plot is just that good.

Everything feels intentional. Every detail matters. Every reveal connects back to something bigger. It’s the kind of storytelling that makes you want to go back and reread just to catch all the pieces you missed the first time.

And the characters…

Each one has such a distinct voice and personality, and somehow the story makes you care about all of them individually.

Which is exactly why the why choose dynamic works so well here — you don’t want to choose. (Even though I do… I really do. But that’s a me problem, not the book’s problem)

Now let’s talk about something that could have easily gone wrong:

The spice.

Yes, this book brings it.

But what impressed me most is that it never overtakes the plot.

You know how sometimes in heavy romance books the spicy scenes start to feel like the point of the story?

Not here.

Every moment fits. Every scene serves the story. The plot stays front and center, and the romance enhances it instead of distracting from it.

Which is exactly how I like my fantasy romance.

And the twists???

I did guess some of them…

…but I wasn’t even mad about it.

Because the execution was just so well done that it still hit.

And that ending???

Prepare yourself.

Because you’re going to close this book and immediately need:

More.

More answers, more story, and more time in this world.
