⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ | Really liked it! Highly recommend.
Read The Night Prince if you like complicated mate bonds, wolf shifters with power struggles, morally layered love interests, and alpha energy that actually comes with emotional stakes.

💭 My Thoughts:
Like my last review of The Wolf King (book 1), this is a re-read review. You can find my OG thoughts on Goodreads. In case you are wondering: I stand by my 4⭐ rating.
The plot? Perfection. Truly. This installment is more action-packed, more layered, and more politically tense than book one. From start to finish, I was locked in. The intrigue builds beautifully, the clan dynamics feel sharp, and the emotional stakes hit.
Now. Let’s address the elephant in the room.
The writing still has its choppy moments.
“I stand.” “He walks.” “They look.”
Babes. Please. We can be more fluid than that.
At this point? I just overlook it. Because the story underneath the prose is strong enough to carry it.
And yes. Blake was the reason I reread this. Again. I have no shame. That man lives rent free in my head and has permanently altered my standards. If you haven’t met him yet, this is your sign.
BUT.
Let’s take a moment for Callum.
He’s a simp. Respectfully. But he’s not perfect, and that’s what makes him compelling. He’s honorable, tough, and trying his absolute best in a world that demands more than anyone should have to give. I genuinely don’t know if he has what it takes to lead long term… but I want him to get his happy ending. He deserves it.
And that ending??
Still hits. Even knowing it was coming.
I didn’t remember all the details from my first read, which made this re-read worth it. The emotional punch landed just as hard.
September 2026 for book three cannot come soon enough.

Should you add The Night Prince to your TBR?
For Blake? Yes.
Immediately.
For the plot, politics, and power struggle? Also yes.
