⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ | Really liked it! Highly recommend.

These Twisted Bonds by Lexi Ryan delivers mate binds, scheming politics, and heart-stopping twists. It’s a perfect fantasy romance for readers looking for a fae romance with angsty love, thrilling action, and impossible situations.

Summary:

After Abriella’s sister was sold to the fae, she thought life couldn’t get any worse. But when she suddenly finds herself caught in a web of lies of her own making–loving two princes and trusting neither–things are not quite as clear as she once thought.

As civil war wages in the Unseelie Court, Brie finds herself unable to choose a side. How can she know where she stands when she doesn’t even know herself anymore? In this darkly romantic thrill ride, the more Faerie is torn apart from the inside, the clearer it becomes that prophecies don’t lie and Brie has a role to play in the fate of this magical realm–whether she likes it or not.

📖 What’s Inside:

  • Tangled love triangle
  • Politics and scheming
  • Powerful FMC
  • Fake dating
  • On-page intimacy 🔴
  • Explicit language
  • 🌈 Inclusive cast
  • Slow burn romance❤️‍🔥

✨ Vibes:

A Court of Thorns and Roses similarities

💭 My Thoughts:

I thoroughly enjoyed These Twisted Bonds, but it just missed that extra spark for a full five stars. The pacing is addictive. You’ll fly through chapters, desperate to see what happens next. The love triangle is masterfully done, keeping you guessing who the FMC will choose right up until the very last page, and the stakes in both romance and politics are high enough to make your heart pound.

The ending felt a touch rushed, and some problems were solved a little too conveniently, but honestly? I couldn’t care less. The intrigue, angsty romance, and sneaky twists more than make up for it. The FMC is fierce and captivating, the mate bonds add tension you can almost feel, and the world-building pulls you right into the fae courts. If you love drama, danger, and romance that grabs you by the gut, this one will not let go.

Should you add These Twisted Bonds to your TBR?

Yes! If you love angsty fae romance with political scheming and a slow-burn love triangle, this one will keep you hooked.
