Fall 2025 Fantasy Releases Most Likely to Explode My TBR

Fall is here and with it comes a flood of new fantasy releases—dark, magical, dramatic, and entirely impossible to resist. My TBR? Already screaming. My self-control? Nonexistent. Here are the fall 2025 fantasy books I cannot stop side-eyeing…and will almost definitely be stacking onto my shelves.

✨Heads up! Some links in this post are Amazon affiliate links. That means if you click and buy, I may earn a small commission at no extra cost to you. Thanks for helping me keep this blog running and my TBR endless! 📚

September 2025 Fantasy Releases

  • Sept 23 – Spellcaster by Jaymin Eve
Because apparently I need another witchy, chaotic magic system in my life.
  • Sept 23 – What Fury Brings by Tricia Levenseller
    Tricia. Always. Delivers. The end.
  • Sept 23 – Alchemised by Senlinyu
A Dramione fan-fic fave turned trad published book? Yes, please!
  • Sept 30 – Holly by Adalyn Grace
More gothic flair from Grace? My gothic fall heart is thriving.
  • Sept 30 – Every Spiral of Fate by Tahereh Mafi
I cannot get enough of Cyrus and Alizeh. Destroy me, Mafi.

October 2025 Fantasy Releases

  • Oct 7 – Alchemy of Secrets by Stephanie Garber
Garber + new series = instant preorder button smash.
  • Oct 14 – A Scar in the Bone by Sophie Jordan
Gimme all the dragons. I’m totally in for the sequel to A Fire in the Sky.
  • Oct 23 – Bonds of Hercules by Jasmine Mas
Greek myth retellings? Always irresistible. Why choose romance? Need I say more?
  • Oct 28 – The Wrath of the Fallen by Amber V. Nicole
I’ve been waiting for this release to read book 3. I know I’m gonna need to have the fourth book ready when I finish The Dawn of the Cursed Queen.

November 2025 Fantasy Releases

  • Nov 4 – The House Saphir by Marissa Meyer
I just know this one is going to go on my Ultimate Fall Fantasy books lists.
  • Nov 11 – Between Two Kings by Lindsay Straube
Don’t judge me. I devoured Kiss of the Basilisk. Gimme all the snake sex.
  • Nov 13 – The Last Wish of Bristol Keats by Mary E. Pearson
Who doesn’t love Pearson? I haven’t read The Courting of Bristol Keats yet because I’ve been waiting for the completed duology. This series will be a TBR buster for sure.
  • Nov 18 – Hollow by Caroline Peckham & Suzanne Valenti
The Twisted Sisters are back, and I am here for it.
  • Nov 25 – Dawn of Chaos and Fury by Melissa K. Roehrich
Because nothing says “Happy Thanksgiving” like chaos and fury. I need this conclusion to the series like I need air.
  • Nov 27 – Fallen Stars by Imani Erriu
Ok, so I haven’t read Heavenly Bodies yet, but I know I’m going to love it. Of course the sequel is going on my TBR to keep book 1 company.

TBR Status: Buried Alive

And there we have it—fall fantasy chaos at its finest. If you need me, I’ll be in denial about how fast this TBR pile is growing (and still somehow pre-ordering half of these). Which of these are making your list? 👀
