Super Smutty Books to Keep You Warm in Winter

✨Heads up! Some links in this post are Amazon affiliate links. That means if you click and buy, I may earn a small commission at no extra cost to you. Thanks for helping me keep this blog running and my TBR endless! 📚

Listen. It’s cold. Your heating bill is rude. Your blanket is doing its best.
But let’s be honest—you’re not surviving winter without a little… literary heat.

So I’ve rounded up the smuttiest, spiciest, steam-powered fantasy romances to thaw your bones, melt your snow boots, and possibly fog up your Kindle screen.

We’re starting with holiday fantasy romance—because nothing says “Christmas spirit” like unhinged magical creatures making questionable choices. Then we dive into the general fantasy filth, ranked from “lightly feral” to “what in the seven hells did I just read.”

Grab your cocoa, your coziest socks, and maybe a fire extinguisher.
Things are about to get hot in here.

🎄🔥 Holiday Fantasy Romance (aka: These Books Are On the Naughty List)

  • Taken by the Snowmen by Maggie Alabaster
Ever wondered what would happen if Frosty had… friends? And they were hot? And had… hands? Yeah. Welcome!
  • All of Santa’s Reindeer by Kelsey Soliz
This is not your childhood reindeer lore. At all. Zero percent. Absolutely unhinged in the most festive way.
  • Mistletoe Mates by Sedona Ashe
Holiday shifters. Insta-lust. Christmas chaos. An entire fever dream wrapped in tinsel.
  • A Mate for the Christmas Dragon by Zoe Chant
A wholesome premise that immediately dissolves into dragon thirst. As it should.
  • Orc in the Mountain by Lylah Taylor
Yes, an ORC. Yes, it’s smutty. Yes, Santa is somewhere crying into his milk and cookies about it. A perfect addition to the holiday heat lineup.

🔥🐉 Non-Holiday Fantasy Romance

Every book here is super smutty, but the vibes get increasingly feral as we go.
Proceed with excitement. And caution.

🌶️🌶️🌶️🌶️ Highly Spicy, Somewhat Sane:

  • The Female by Invi Wright
Smutty romance with strong feminine rage energy.
  • Stalked by Seduction and Shadows by Maggie Sunseri
Intrigue + spice = the perfect storm. The MMC could step on readers and they’d say thank you.
  • Insatiable by Leigh Rivers
Title tells you everything. Zero thoughts, just need.
  • The Power of Hades by Eliza Raine
Greek myth retelling but make it thirsty. Hades is illegally hot, as usual.

🌪️🌶️🌶️🌶️🌶️ The “I’m Not Sure This Is Legal” Zone:

  • Dark Fae by Caroline Peckham & Suzanne Valenti
The starting line of unhinged fae chaos. If you survive this series, you qualify for hazard pay.
  • Haunting Adeline by H.D. Carlton
The book your therapist warned you about.
  • Court of the Vampire Queen by Katee Robert
Poly. Vampires. Every chapter is a scene. Hydrate.
  • Once Upon a Demon’s Heart by K.M. Moronova
A demon romance that asks: “How dark is too dark?” Spoiler: there is no such thing.
  • Court of Heathens by K.A. Knight
If chaos was a book. The girlies who get it… get it.
  • Kiss of the Basilisk by Lindsay Straube
Creature romance with vibes so spicy you’ll need a fan. Maybe two. (my review)
  • Feathers So Vicious by Liv Zander
Pure feral energy. Like reading a shifter romance while skydiving.
  • A Ruin of Roses by K.F. Breene
Beauty and the Beast retelling but make it morally questionable and extremely spicy. A classic in the unhinged canon.

Now Go Melt Your Eyeballs, Babe

But before you sprint off to download half this list (don’t lie, you’re already opening Kindle), a quick PSA from your resident chaos curator: These books are SPICY and UNHINGED. Like “is this allowed on Amazon?” spicy and unhinged.

So do yourself a favor and check the trigger warnings for every single book before diving in.
Some of these stories get dark, weird, and occasionally WTF did I just read??—and we love that, but I also love your mental health.

Read safe, read smart, and may your winter be filled with unhinged magic and main characters who behave badly. 😈
